Huzzah! Its Lightroom Friday!
Every week I compile a nice list of the goings-on, as it were, in the Lightroom world. Blog posts, tips, tricks and even video tutorials and freebies adorn these pages. So gear up, get ready for some book (or at least screen) learnin’ and lets have at it.
- All good things in Lightroom begin with a memory card. Well almost. Scott Kelby talks about recovering images from a problem or reformatted card. This happened to me a month ago – Mr. Dummy formatted a card full of images I’d not yet downloaded.
- LightroomKillerTips.com has a new preset for you. And a tip on how to reset your presets. And finally The Clarity Super Edgy Trick.
- onOne Software is talking about Perfect Photo Suite 6, including some lightroom goodies like the Layers stuff.
- The LightroomBlog.com talks about Auto-Import. They also have a nice article on blogging and Lightroom.
- X-Equals talks Keyboard Shortcuts. Go fingers!
- John Beardsworth has a plugin for Lightroom-> iTunes. I kid you not. Makes syncing photos to an iPad easier.
- Laura Shoe tackles the question of all quesitons: Lightroom or Photoshop. PS. the latter is the worlds best plugin for Lightroom.
- Laura also addresses the age old question – hey what about support for camera X? And, being on a roll, she also has a nice article on the Tone Curve.
- LightroomSecrets.com has the skinny on Brush Buildup when using that awesome Adjustment Brush.
- LRB PLugins has some new presets for you…
- PresetsHeaven.com has a few presets that will help you get your vintage on.
- Victoria Bampton talks backups.
- Lightroomers.com talks about taming Lightroom Keywords.
