I use Lightroom (you guessed it) and keep it all in Raw (i.e. no SilverEfx – John Beardsworth does some amazing stuff with it though). I just have modified a preset that I use with a slight warm tint, some recovery. I’ve really just focused on getting it like I used to do with analog development – find something you like and stick with it. I see it as very much like using Oriental paper (warm) and some popping highlights.

I love your ballet images, and the monochrome rendition you give them. You also have a very willing and beautiful model which I am sure makes the work slightly easier. Love to know what you use for the b&w processing. I feel sure it is LR but do you use anything else like Silverefex etc.?
